Zinc

  • Enhancing corrosion resistance and providing a protective coating for your bass metal.
  • Blue / White / Clear
  • Yellow
  • Green / Olive Drab
  • Black

EnviroTriPassTM

  • EnviroTriPassTM is a registered trademarked process utilising new generation Trivalent Passivation.
  • Complying with ALL automotive and ROHS standards and meets the local and international demand for a high corrosion resistant, trivalent passivation.

MEGA Zinc®

  • MegaZinc® is a Registered trademarked process providing an electroplated Zinc coating of between 10 and 30 microns.
  • Various other organic protective coats are applied and will leach and seal the plated article.

Mechanical Plating

  • Mechanical plating is a non-electro galvanic process where metal parts are coated through mechanical impact with specialized media containing metal powders and additives
  • Mechanical Plating is available in passivations:
    • Clear
    • Yellow
    • Green / Olive Drab

Cadmium

  • Prized for its lubricative properties, this plating involves depositing cadmium onto metal surfaces, offering excellent corrosion resistance and low friction.

It is NOT ROHS compliant due to cadmium’s toxicity and environmental concerns.

  • Cadmium is available in passivations:
    • Clear
    • Yellow

Copper

  • Ductile & relatively soft, it alloys readily with other metals
  • It has excellent electrical & thermal conductivity and is useful as a pre-coating for soft soldered work, pewter & zinc alloy die-casting before the disposition of other metals.

Nickel

  • Nickel has a high mechanical strength, is hard and at ordinary temperatures is paramagnetic.
  • Nickel may be deposited as a bright or semi-bright coating.
  • For engineering applications, ductility and hardness are of major importance.

Bright Brass

  • Bright brass plating involving the deposition of nickel is a process where a thin layer of nickel is first deposited onto a metal substrate to provide durability and corrosion resistance.
  • Subsequently, a layer of brass is applied over the nickel layer, resulting in a bright and lustrous finish that combines the aesthetic appeal of brass with the protective properties of nickel.

Heavy Brass

  • Heavy brass or dull brass plating involves depositing a layer of brass onto a metal substrate, resulting in a dull appearance. This plating method is often used for decorative purposes and can provide enhanced durability and corrosion resistance to the underlying metal.

Zinc-Nickel Alloy

  • Alkaline zinc nickel baths offer a ductile deposit, excellent corrosion resistance in a salt spray. (ASTM B 117)
  • With the ability to plate in deep, low current density regions, It can be considered as a replacement for Cadmium as a protective and ROHS compliant layer.
  • Plating to any given specification:
    • ISO 15726
    • ASTM B841
    • AMS 2417
    • Custom Specs
  • We offer Zinc-Nickel plating in passivations:
    • Black ( + additional organic top-coat sealer)
    • Clear
